It takes a village . . .

The statement, “It takes a village . . . “ takes on a new meaning when it comes to senior living.  The Park Health Nursing Home is located down the hill from Mark Kennedy Park.  They have been a good neighbor for several years. 

Originally built on land given to the County, it is in the deed that residents of Mark Kennedy Park are given priority for open beds.  Residents have received short term therapy there and also have transferred there when no longer able to live independently. 

In addition, their therapy department provides informational programs to assist our residents.  Once a month, representatives from Park Health, arrive to play bingo and bring prizes as well.  In the near future, Park Health is planning a bus trip with the bingo participants.
